Tatjana Reihs, born in 1964 in Zagreb, Croatia, is married and has one son.
Dr. Reihs completed her medical studies in Zagreb and then obtained a doctorate. Starting in 1994, she worked at the university women’s clinic at Heinrich-Heine University, Düsseldorf, for 18 years. In 2001, she completed her specialist examination in gynaecology and obstetrics at the North Rhine medical association and in 2005 she undertook further education focussing on “high risk pregnancy and prenatal medicine”. She headed the department for prenatal medicine and ultrasound diagnostics at the university women’s clinic, Düsseldorf. Dr. Tatjana Reihs has been DEGUM II certified since this time. She opened her own practice in Bonn in 2009.
“Continuous education is very important to me”, says Dr. Tatjana Reihs, who regularly attends national and international conferences, events and seminars on prenatal medicine. She has been supporting the Latvian organisation for obstetrics and gynaecology as a lecturer for a few years now. Furthermore, she also organizes numerous workshops on this topic for colleagues.
